Entries for Young Founders 2016 have now closed. Once again the judges were overwhelmed by the high caliber of applicants for this year’s internship. Business ideas ranged from agri-tech and pharma to health and learning - the judging panel was blown away!

Dermot Savage an 18 year old from South Armagh is graduating Southern Regional College in Newry and is developing an agri-tech product to reduce mortality during lambing.
Megan Doherty aged 17 years, from St Mary’s College Derry/Londonderry is developing a healthier option to tackle over exposure to the sun.
Georgia Hamill an 18 year old from Southern Regional College in Armagh is developing an App that intervenes to support young people with stress and mental illness.
David Hatton an 18 year old from Ashfield Boys High School is developing a product to support families and relatives suffering from Alzheimer’s disease.
Niall McGrath aged 17 years from Wellington College Belfast, is developing an app to fundamentally change the way children learn languages.
Connect Young Founders (CYF) is an opportunity for young people (age 16-18) to spend Summer 2016 working on their business idea. This very different, very fun business experience helps bridge the gap between the young person's idea and commercial viability.
CYF will equip you with the knowledge and skills to start your business on the right path, help you minimise risk while inspiring you to work through the tough bits. Between our team of mentors and business experts we have designed, built and sold some of the world’s most groundbreaking products and startups.
