On Friday 13th April the DANI Awards took place at the Queen’s University Whitla Hall in Belfast. For the second year running, we are proud to announce that our Techwatch blog has been crowned best Business & Technology Blog in Northern Ireland. This year’s awards were an Asian-Inspired extravaganza with dancing, dragons & stilt walkers – it was truly a night to remember!

In a recent interview with Sync NI, Techwatch Editor Emily commented:

“Developments here are just as exciting as anywhere around the globe. In 2016 we saw the highest number of innovative start-ups, a great indication of how the Knowledge Economy in Northern Ireland is developing… So you don't need to go to TechCrunch to find out about great technology, you can find out about it here at TechWatch

Also in the Best Business & Tech Blog category were Glaze Digital who use their blog to share practical skills and knowledge within the business community, Fathom who blog about how businesses can be transformed through technology and Rezoomo’s recruitment and marketing blog.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all our Techwatch readers and everyone in our network who help us to share the stories – without you the blog would not have grown to where it is today!
